The Total points doesn't match letter grade in gradebook e.g. 156 B is seen when the grading scheme shows 156=F. Does anyone know why this may happen?
Hi @MarianChima,
I would recommend making sure that you have the correct grading scheme selected for the course.
I would also recommend that you make sure that everything has been graded and that the correct status has been assigned to every submission (maybe you are using a posting policy).
In my experience, those are most common reasons for grades not matching properly. You might want to reach out to your school's Canvas team or (if available to you) Canvas Support directly if you none of those help.

If you could post a screenshot of your grading scheme here, that could be really helpful. I know @dbrace already gave you some pointers, but I wanted to ask a but more about your grading scheme, given the numbers you mentioned in your post... The traditional grading schemes in Canvas are percentage based (0-100). There are also point-based schemes, but the maximum points there are 100 (and when used for a course or assignment, the values scale basically like a percentage).
I look forward to hearing back from you, hopefully with some additional info to help us assist you.

Is there a trick to importing a rubric when using the Canvas rubric template? I download the csv file and fill in the Canvas Rubric template from the Enhanced Grading feature and nothing happens when I try to upload it. It only shows the file name, but not it's size. Yes, it is still a CSV. I've tried removing all symbols…
With the new SpeedGrader UI, we are seeing student names appear in the page title even when the “Hide student names” setting is enabled. When using Classic Quizzes, there is no option within the quiz settings to enable anonymous grading, so we rely on instructors using the hide student names setting in SpeedGrader to…
Speedgrader chaning file name when being downloaded. Speedgrader: When downloading a submitted assignment, the file name is being changed to an unrecognizable name — (Student's actual name was part of the file name — changed for privacy.) Ideas???
We are all familiar with the standard Course Calendar, where assignment due dates are automatically added. However, at my institution, we structure our assignments as Challenges that develop over a period of time, rather than just a single deadline. Currently, the calendar only highlights the "end point." It would be a…
