Is there a way for the general object checkboxes in the blueprint settings to allow us to lock ALL content in the blueprint? Instead of having to do this 1 by 1 for each piece of content on the blueprint page?I see there was a post on something similar in 2020 which hasn't had any movement since. (https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Idea-Conversations/Blueprint-automatically-lock-content/idi-p/349650 ) Any suggestions? It would save us SO much time 🤧

You should be able to lock all content by going to the "Settings" page of the Blueprint. Under "Blueprint Course", select "Locked Objects by Type" then expand each type and select "Content"

In our institution we run into this as well. Indeed you can set locking under Settings and the suggestion is that all objects will be locked. However, I tested this and editing those objects in the child courses then still is possible. One has to manually go through all objects in the parent blueprint course to activate the locking. This of course gives great flexibility but the extra work involved can be quite cumbersome, especially when one has to correct this retroactively.
Example of where one has to put on the definitve lock on an object:
Before locking:
After locking:
Any thoughts on this?

Breakout Discussions would enable instructors to orchestrate multi-phase discussions that mirror effective classroom facilitation patterns. An instructor creates a master discussion topic, then segments participants into small breakout groups for focused conversation, and finally reconvenes everyone into a unified thread…
Hi all, Quick question about the Gradebook color status for a 2-part checkpoint discussion. If a student completes the first due date (initial post) but does not complete the required replies by the second due date, is there any way for Canvas to automatically show a color (e.g., missing/late) instead of staying as…
Among all the things that I wish Canvas had is that one! Is it something that is been worked on? We had it in Blackboard (legacy) and I sorely miss and need in Canvas (we just transitioned to it from Bb). Please add this very needed feature!
My Canvas shell has three different sections that all meet at different times throughout the week. I need to be able to batch edit assignment due dates by section, but right now Canvas can't filter by section for batch edit. My only option is now to manually (tediously) edit due dates for each assignment individually.
Morning! One of the more frustrating aspects of Canvas are groups and the issues that show up when copying courses that have them. But now we have yet another issue. Most recently we have had instances where people mark an assignment/discussion as a group assignment but then do not link the discussion or assignment to any…
