I have a quiz created with TestGen that contains images. I have used it with a problem in Blackboard, when I attempt to import the QTI .zip file into Canvas it fails. What could be the cause and the work around?
Hi @DJyrjn,
Are you positive that TestGen is capable of exporting a QTI-compliant file? I'm not familiar with the software, so I did a google search, and I didn't really find anything that explicitly stated TestGen could export/output in the QTI format. I could have been encountering outdated documentation, but since Canvas is not accepting the import, it seems the most likely cause is that the TestGen file is not actually in QTI format.
Let us know if you can provide any more detail!

Speedgrader chaning file name when being downloaded. Speedgrader: When downloading a submitted assignment, the file name is being changed to an unrecognizable name — (Student's actual name was part of the file name — changed for privacy.) Ideas???
We are all familiar with the standard Course Calendar, where assignment due dates are automatically added. However, at my institution, we structure our assignments as Challenges that develop over a period of time, rather than just a single deadline. Currently, the calendar only highlights the "end point." It would be a…
