I'm not sure if you noticed, however you posted this in a global canvas community, a place where millions of users from different schools and institutions come together to ask questions and discuss anything Canvas-related. That being the case, not a lot of people in the community would be able to provide you with accurate information that is school or class specific. That said, I think your question specifically would be something to reach out to your instructor directly about so you can get the best information.
