Anyone notice that Students can't annotate on a Canvas Student Annotation Assignment with their touc

Some students are using Dell Touch-Screen capable Chromebooks. When they attempt to use the touchscreen to complete a Student Annotation Assignment the touch-screen just scrolls with the touch.

The students have to use the track-pad or a mouse to use the annotation tools.

Does anyone know of a setting on the Chromebook that will fix this?

As someone who has used touch screen chromebooks with students in the past, and has tried to do similar things, we haven't found a solution to this either. However, if you want me to be honest, I believe that it's possible the chromebook is purposely engineered this way, and there isn't a setting available to change how it functions. I didn't take a super deep look into any of the settings, however I did glance over them, especially with the display-oriented ones.

Not sure if this is 100% accurate, however this has been my experience with using Chromebooks and using the touchscreen for annotations.
