Is there a way with Admin access in Canvas to see the IP address used for a student's assignment submission? Any tips or advice you have is appreciated!
Hi @melissa_kamp - there is a CSV file that can be downloaded that will include IP Addresses. So you might want to go to the Assignment first to find the Assignment ID, then go to the Student's Page views, then download the CSV.
Here is the Guide: How do I view the page views for a user in an account?
And here is the part that talks about "You can download the page views as a CSV file by clicking the CSV link [6]. The generated CSV file contains more information than displayed in the Page Views window, such as the IP address used for each page view."
I hope this helps!

Speedgrader chaning file name when being downloaded. Speedgrader: When downloading a submitted assignment, the file name is being changed to an unrecognizable name — (Student's actual name was part of the file name — changed for privacy.) Ideas???
We are all familiar with the standard Course Calendar, where assignment due dates are automatically added. However, at my institution, we structure our assignments as Challenges that develop over a period of time, rather than just a single deadline. Currently, the calendar only highlights the "end point." It would be a…
