I am using calendar events in a course, and even after the date has passed, they continue to show up at the top of the Course Summary on the Syllabus page. Is there a way to make only future events or assignments show up on the Course Summary?
Thank you for including the screenshot, @dpchristianson. I can see how keeping old events on the page can feel like retaining irrelevant information. The Coming Up and To Do lists on the course homepage provide information aligned with your interest, and the Course Stream view also works this way. There is not an option in Canvas to hide past events in the Course Summary table, but you could propose that change to Canvas. Information on how to do that is on the page How do Ideas and Themes work in the Instructure Community?

Teachers often assume that because an assignment is a groupassignment, they will automatically grade it per group via SpeedGrader. With the option “Grade students individually”, they think they’re simply assigning the group grade to each individual student — without realizing that this option actually requires them to…
Hi There, We are in the process of transitioning to Canvas this year and were wanting to connect with any other MYP schools to see how you setup Assignment and grading under your modules. Or you could guide us to any resources you may have.
