Closed Captions in BigBlueButton

Hello!

We've been using closed captions within BigBlueButton (integrated within Canvas) but have found them quite limiting. Does anybody else use BigBlueButton and find a easier and more effective method for showing closed captions for students who need them?

Announcement DRAFT suggestion
While typing an Announcement, sometimes midway, we need to check something for which we click on Grades or Assignments. Then when we return to Announcements, what we types simply disappears. It will be very helpful to have a DRAFT option under Announcements so that the unfinished message is not lost.

Late deduction without an interval
My class policy is that late assignments can be accepted at professor discretion, but they will have a 50% penalty. This is a gate you pass through once, and there are no further penalties.
