how to delete instructor's comment to a student's assignment

I have searched topics on how to delete an instructor's comment regarding a student's assignment. I found three options: 1) hover over the comment *2) click on an "x" *3) click on a "t" (cross). None of these have been successful. How do I delete a comment I made to a student regarding their submitted assignment? Thank you. Kevin Mattson/Instructor

Where does the comment appear for the student's assignment? Are you referring to comments you can type on the right-hand side of the SpeedGrader (to the right of where you can view the document the student has submitted to you for the assignment)? Or, are you asking about deleting comments that you have made as annotations directly on the document the student submitted?

Check out the section on "View Draft Comment" near the bottom of the Guide.

Chris, after I open the student's assignment, there is a comment area to the right for me to type my comment. Above that comment area there is a box to type the points. Finally, I click on save. I do not see any icon to delete my comment. Regarding the Guide or link you included, it is for leaving feedback only. Kevin
