"Site-wide" outcome report

Hi all,

In my institution, most of the outcomes are account level and they are imported into the courses. The remaining outcomes are created within the courses themselves.

As an admin, I am asked to generate an outcome report which consolidates the student performance at the "site-wide" or "account" level. I am pretty new to Canvas and I have no idea at all. Is this something possible? Did anyone try this before?

Hi @chedalex ...

I'm not sure if either of these reports will meet your needs, but as a Canvas admin, click on your "Admin" button on the left-hand global navigation menu, and then select your account name (usually your school name). Then, scroll all the way down on the left menu to "Settings". Next, click on the "Reports" tab. There are two reports that might help: "Outcome Export" and "Outcome Results". You can click on the "?" next to each of these to read more about what kind of data you'd be able to get from these reports.

How do I view reports for an account?

Is there any way to generate and download these reports by REST API? We are sending these scores to an external system and would really like to automate this process to avoid manual download and import.
