One Calendar event for multiple classes

We are having a guest speaker and I would like to create 1 event for all three of my courses. Currently, I have to create a separate event for each course.

Hi @csj2,

Unfortunately, I don't know of a way to do exactly what you're after in Canvas.  Canvas has two calendar options:

* A calendar for each course.  I think that's your current method, and it means you'd need to create your event three times (one per course).
* An account/subaccount calendar, where someone with Canvas admin access could create a calendar item visible to all users with courses in that account.  This is great for events that are school-wide, but it's likely TOO global for your scenario.

What you'd ideally need is something in between the current options.  You could submit this as a new idea for Instructure to consider in the future, but I think for now option #1 is going to be your best bet.
