Canvas badges

Hello there,  We have just started using Badges in Canvas, not credentials.  I was wondering, is it possible to copy a badge from one course to another?  Also if someone creates a badge does it stay in a course or is there always access, no matter which course they are in?

I did some testing, @330467 and found that the Badges menu item copied over into the new course but I had to re-verify my Canvas Badges account, select an issuer, and add a badge to the course. Any badges created are linked to the user's issuer on badgr.com, so they can be added to other Canvas courses (or even awarded directly from the issuer page on badgr.com).
