Sort by Term

I need my assignments to be sorted by grading term.  In my gradebook, I can put in a date window but in assignments, I do not have any option.  I had this option last year and this will create problems as I continue.

How do I turn this feature on?

Hi @wbyrd,

I'm going to assume when you say "grading term" that you mean what Canvas calls "grading periods."

If that assumption is correct, I don't recall ever being able to sort the gradebook by a grading period, but you can filter down to a single grading period if that helps. You could also sort by due date, assuming your assignments all have a due date, which combined with the grading period filter may get you what you're looking for.
