Best Practice - Should I embed content into a module or build from start?

Hello,

 

I'm a complete rookie here, so this is more of a best practices question...

 

I have an existing course that is already nicely designed (PDF/PPT, etc.) with content, quizzes and rubrics.

 

Is it easier (better?) for students if I embed the content directly into each module as it exists or should I rebuild it in each module using the rich editor? Hoping for the former, but am uncertain what the best experience would be.

 

Any guidance, help or suggestions are VERY appreciated!

With regards to making your course accessible, some of the content that you have built should be made in Canvas. You can still use your premade content and upload those into Canvas. You can use the quizzes functions to build your quizzes and to auto-grade most of the questions depending on the question types that you leverage.
