Remove completed courses from Dashboard as Teacher

Question

I recently opened Canvas after a few months and saw all my completed courses (past enrollments) back in the Dashboard's active Published Courses area., whereas they were not displayed as such the last time I logged into Canvas.  They are not favorited (starred) and have all ended.  How do I remove these old courses from the Published Courses area in my Dashboard?  I am the course instructor.

You can try this: Go to your Dashboard in Canvas. Find the course you want to remove from the Published Courses area. Click on the three dots (ellipsis) next to the course name. Select "Unpublish" from the options menu. The course will be removed from the Published Courses area and will appear under "Unpublished Courses" on your Dashboard.

Concluded courses can't be active until these courses were unconcluded manually by the instructor, or by changing course or term start and end dates by admins or by instructor if applicable.

Simply, conclude them again or go to Courses -> all courses and put star to what courses you would like to be only appear in the main dashboard.

note, make sure you have concluded all courses from the past enrollment. you don't want to keep them active for students from the last enrollment.
