I have no option to enable a reply or initial post through canvas for the discussion board. What would the recommended solution be?

Are you by chance trying to do this while in student view? If so, ensure that it is posted to the correct course section.
Something I have done in the past as well is to duplicate the discussion board, and that usually fixes the problem.

Can you please let us know if you are a teacher, student, or perhaps some kind of teaching assistant. That information would greatly change the potential things going on here, and it would be easier to answer this once we know your role for sure.

How can I import outcomes and outcome groups from previous class sections to a new class section/ new term class without having to rewrite all of the outcomes individually?
