Delay posting an announcement with different posting dates by section

Hi, I don't think there has been a question exactly like this - I'd like to create a set of announcements that I can use across different sections but the posting date would be different.  They are going to be things like reminders 3 days prior to an event and a follow-up a couple of days after an event.  A bit like a schedule.

I'll have different sections all at different stages of their course learning but enrolled in the same course

In order to post an announcement to multiple sections at different times, you will need to make separate announcements for each section. If you know you are going to have a number of these, you could make all of them for one section and then do a course copy and select just the announcements you need duplicates of for the copy. You will need to edit each of those and change the aligned sections, as the copies come in aligned to All Sections.

Basically, there is not a simple way of doing this, but it is technically possible.
