I am attempting to complete the course, but when I click on the modules button, it will not let me mark the first one as completed, which means it will not allow me to move on to the second module.
Hi Amanda,
Go through the first module and look at all of the items in it. Make sure that every single one has a green checkmark. If you see an item with an empty circle to the right of it, you haven't done it yet. For the "pages," your instructor may have required that you click on "Mark as Done." Make sure that you've done that. Once all of the items in the first module have a green checkmark, then you'll see a green circle to the right of the module name. That means that you have completed the module. (The circle will turn green automatically.) Then you should be able to move forward in your course.
If you're still having difficulties, post a screenshot of the first module so that we can see what's happening.
This did not solve my problem. It won't even let me move past the first green dot. I have completed it, but it will not turn green. Is there anything further I can try?
Hi @AmandaTurner929
Since we haven't heard from you in a while I hope this means you were able to find your solution! If not then please let us know!
Hi everyone, It looks like the multiple rubric idea has bounced around a bit with the different feature request methodologies over the years, including a mention in New & Next 2024 according to this post, interviews in the enhanced rubrics features group, being listed as "under consideration" on the new roadmap, and this…
I recently had an exam provided as a Canvas Quiz in my class, and used some questions copied from question banks from other sections and prior years of the course. Some of those questions had "General Answer Comment" text already saved in them. I changed that text in several questions as I updated/changed the questions.…
I would like to suggest improvements to how collaborations function within Canvas LMS. Currently, collaborations are somewhat limited in how they can be accessed and integrated into course content. One potential improvement would be allowing collaborations to be directly linkable within Pages and Modules. This would make…
We are using the Learning Mastery Gradebook with an rubric on account-level. When we enter the gradebook, the sorting does not make any sense. How can we make the sorting so it makes sense to us. It feels like a randam sorting.
Can Canvas please create the option to use a "total points" system such that both the gradebook and the student grades page can show accumulated total points, not as a fraction of total points earned/total points possible? This would be SO helpful for progress tracking in a self-paced course where I do not want 0s entered…
