I'm having trouble embedding photos in my reply where the image saved looks fine and when I embed it, the image is just a gray block. Is there a file size limitation or something similar that is causing this?

For starters, are you an instructor or a student? Where are you trying to embed an image in your course? If you are an instructor, are you designing a content page in your course? If you are a student, are you posting a reply to a discussion topic that your instructor has assigned to you and your classmates?
