When an Announcement targets a specific section (e.g. a tutorial), do all teaching staff associated with the unit of study 9Canvas course) receive the announcement notification?
There are a few factors that will contribute to determining if other instructors of a course will receive announcements that are sent to a particular section of a Canvas course.
Only individual users can manage their notification settings, so not instructor can enable or disable the notification settings for other users in a course. If you would want to ensure that other instructors in a course do not receive a notification directed to a particular section, it might be better to use the Canvas Inbox to send the message to the targeted users instead of a general announcement.
I am currently experiencing an issue where a student’s assignment grade appears in Moderate, but it is not populating in the Canvas gradebook. Hi There, We are in the process of transitioning to Canvas this year and were wanting to connect with any other MYP schools to see how you setup Assignment and grading under your modules. Or you could guide us to any resources you may have.
Our "Outcomes" has not been working for about 6 months. Teachers can't build and attach Outcomes to new quizzes. Canvas said it was a rollover issue. Canvas won't fix it unless we pay them $2000 to "re-train" us for 10 hours. Has anyone had this problem and did it get fixed?
