HELP on SIS Conversion!!!!

Hi Canvas Community,

 

We are currently looking into purchasing a SIS Converison with the Canvas team to make our SIS - BlackBaud(BBK12) talk to Canvas & allow features like grade passback. We did talk to the Canvas team & they did not have much clarity as to how the end or finished product would look like. We now know that SIS conversion is a definite possibility, but we need to understand how a working model looks like. We as a team needed some clarifications so that we can convince our leadership to purchase this integration. The Canvas team redirected us to the community, is there anyone who has purchased this integration setup & was able to make these two tools Canvas & BBK 12 talk?

@JuliettaJohn There are several Community guides on typical SIS integration between Canvas and Blackbaud.  I recommend you review the Blackbaud Integration Overview  and the other guides on Blackbaud and Canvas.  Additionally, if you may want to consider reaching out to your CSM about the possibility of adding a SIS Integration to your Canvas instance.  They would be more knowledgeable about your particular situation and may be able to answer more specific questions that you may have.
