How can we track attendance in a asynchronous class?

How do we access attendance on the New Analytics Attendance tab? It des not apear on our Canvas instance.

Hi there, @ChuckMarshall ...

With some awesome help from @chriscas, he was able to show me what needs to be enabled in Canvas. This is actually something that your school's Canvas administrator will need to enable so that you can see that "Online Attendance" tab in New Analytics. Here are the instructions for your Canvas administrator:

Use this Guide to go to the "Apps" tab at the Canvas account level: How do I use the Canvas App Center in an account? - Instructure Community (canvaslms.com)
Click on the "View App Configurations" button.
To the right of the "New Analytics" row, click on the cog wheel icon, and select "Configure".
Toggle the switch (so it turns green) for the option "Enable Online Attendance Dashboard".
Scroll to the bottom of the screen and click the "Save Settings" button.
Click "Done".

The "Online Attendance" tab should now be available in all courses within your school's Canvas account.
