I need to remove the assignment that I have submitted and upload another one.
Can you help with this?
It says that re submissions are allowed but I can't see what I can do to achieve this.
thanks.
Hi @StewartPayne ...
It sounds like you are a student. Unfortunately, Canvas Community members don't have access to your course or your school's Canvas environment. For a question like this regarding re-submissions of an assignment, you should contact your instructor directly to see how he/she wants you to re-submit. You can contact your instructor directly in Canvas by following the instructions in this Guide:
How do I get help with Canvas as a student?
Keep us posted here in the Community...thanks! Good luck!
When a resubmission happens, many teachers will view the most recent submission first. The only reason I would go back to a prior submission is if the student tells me to look at something there, or a student fails to fully resubmit (only submitting things they missed the first time). At times, it can be beneficial, showing that you are attempting to not only do the work, but improve on the work.
There is not a way for you or the teacher to remove the first submission. However, as @Chris_Hofer mentioned, talk to your teacher about how they handle resubmissions. Unless they turn it off, basic assignments usually allow for multiple submissions by default. You would see a button at the bottom of the assignment to resubmit.
My school district has changed our required Learning Outcomes for all of our courses for this school year. How can I archive the 400+ Learning Outcomes we used last school year so they're still linked to our 25-26 courses but teachers can't use them in 26-27 courses going forward?
I am setting up my courses for this year and I realized that when I opend the mastery-based gradebook, there is no color coding. When I open last years's course that had color-coding last time I opened it in the spring, it no longer has colors. The colors appear in the individual student view, but not in the all class view.
Hoping someone can explain for me. We're using pacing to avoid manually dating regular assignments each quarter, but the dates I see are based on when the course was instantiated, while students see dates based on when they were added to the course by [backend software I don't know anything about, presumably]. If I set…
Has anyone else had issues with an influx of duplicate users in Canvas? Ours is currently in the form of an email that already exists, becoming a new user - and not automatically merging with the user ID with the same email that also is linked to our SIS ID correctly as well. For example, user 1 is xyz@gmail.com without a…
Canvas Portfolios provide a powerful platform for students to document their learning journey, reflect on their progress, and showcase competencies. However, in programs where multiple educators are involved in assessment—such as team teaching, moderation, or competency-based evaluation—there are important questions about…
