Is there a reason why a student may not be able to uncheck the privacy boxes? They are grayed out.

Off the top of my head, I'm not recalling where there might be "privacy" check-boxes in Canvas. Could you please help identify where these check-boxes might be so that we can help further? Thanks!
Hello, I am a student who uses canvas, and was wondering if there is a way to remove a assignment from the missing status, in cases like where the assignment is a group assignment, and only one person is supposed to submit it. I know i'm able to mark it as complete, but it still shows as missing.
