When I try to login to Respondus, it says my browser is not up to date however, I updated lockdown browser and chrome and it still isn't working so I am unsure of what to do. Thank you!

The message is coming from the most recent update to the Canvas browser checker from late December, which no longer recognizes the current version of LockDown Browser as being up to date. You can ignore the message.
