How do I post PDFs so students can access readings?

You can add PDFs to content pages in your course, and you can have them automatically display on the page as soon as students view the page in your course. Or, they can click on a link on the page to have the PDF open up. I'll leave that up to you, but here is a great Guide to get you started:

Another way to do this is to add the PDF file directly as a module item to any given module. However, this way doesn't really allow you to add any other text above or below the document in case you wanted to provide some additional details along with the document for your students to read.
