Can my canvas be set up so that every type of assignment defaults to "percentage?" (rather than "points")

I did a quick look in the areas where I thought it might be possible to set that type of action. I could not find anything. The only thing I know for sure is that I believe is for regular assignment assignments that if you select display grades as percent, that stays active for all future assignments created. With all other graded work, I believe you would have to change the view for each assignment to percentages.
Is this for your own viewing in the gradebook? Or is it the way you want it to show for students?
I checked and if you have the score set to display as percents on an assignment, then the students see the percent score and the max value in points for the assignment. Furthermore in your gradebook, you have to enter the score as a percent and not a point total.
I am not sure if there is a setting that will stick with new quizzes, and I do not believe there is one for classic.

Are public Canva embed iframes (canva.com/design/.../view?embed)…

The API returns 204 No Content (success), but the column order does not persist after page refresh. Steps to Reproduce: Open Learning Mastery Gradebook for…
Hi all, Quick question about the Gradebook color status for a 2-part checkpoint discussion. If a student completes the first due date (initial post) but does not complete the required replies by the second due date, is there any way for Canvas to automatically show a color (e.g., missing/late) instead of staying as…
Canvas Portfolios provide a powerful platform for students to document their learning journey, reflect on their progress, and showcase competencies. However, in programs where multiple educators are involved in assessment—such as team teaching, moderation, or competency-based evaluation—there are important questions about…
Hi There, We are in the process of transitioning to Canvas this year and were wanting to connect with any other MYP schools to see how you setup Assignment and grading under your modules. Or you could guide us to any resources you may have.
