Could Canvas please add and display in the text box for Discussions a word count feature? Many faculty require a word count for discussion questions.

Similar to what @Jeff_F stated, the word count displays for students but not yet within the speedgrader. However, there have been others requesting the same thing and here is a post that gives some good suggestions like using your internet browser tool to count the words amongst other ideas. There is also a post to the idea forum with upvotes. Feel free to upvote this as we implement great ideas such as this that we find within the community.
