adding system parameters in links

Hi All,

I'm using iframes and links to external sites in the 'Pages'.
Can I add some kind of system parameters in the link?
ie: www.external_link.com/info.php?course=$course_id$&student=$student_id$
where Canvas replaces $course_id and $student_id$ with the id's of the selecterd course and the user that is logged in.
