I need to add a student in canvas immediately and I'm having trouble figuring it out. How do I add a student to a course??
Hi @DanielKool
The general instructions for adding a person to a Canvas course are at https://community.canvaslms.com/t5/Instructor-Guide/How-do-I-add-users-to-a-course/ta-p/1119
However, if you are using your school's Canvas server, student enrollments may be automatically updated from the school's SIS, so instructors may not have permissions to manually add students to a course in Canvas. (That's the way my school does it, since Canvas is automatically updated with enrollments from the SIS.)
If you are not sure, you'll want to contact the Help Desk at your school to confirm the school's policies on Canvas enrollments.

We use course pacing to manage due dates, because we run ~20 something courses each quarter and manually setting due dates would be a nightmare. Several courses have two core topics. We want to allow students to choose which of these they will pursue first. Is there any way to configure multiple course paces with different…
