I have two assignments for my students this week and both are published but locked. How might I get them unlocked?

Could you please describe how you are seeing how your assignments are "locked"? If possible, could you share a screenshot (being careful not to show any student identifying information)? I did a quick search here in the Community for topics about locked assignments, and I came across this discussion:
