Can you get back delated assignments once they got delated?

It depends on your role in the course and the type of assignment. If you are the instructor, you might try this solution.

What @gnoack posted is the correct place to look for information on how the question was answered before and I definitely suggest you read through it.
If you want the short and to the point answer, go to the home page for the course and type /undelete at the end of the url.
If that works then you will see a list of deleted items that can be restored.
I just checked as a student, and undelete does not work for students, so if you are a student, then you are out of luck.
When you are creating a quiz and/or also reviewing a quiz in Canvas after the class has taken it, the questions aren't numbered so after you get past the first few questions, there is no way to even tell what number you are on. Can someone change that?
