Why Canvas does not have a post/publish date for assignments? This would be extremely helpful. I do not view this date to be the same as available date. This was very useful in Google Classroom.

Thank you for contacting the Canvas Community. We're sorry to hear you've been experiencing issues with viewing publish dates on assignments. Right now, that isn't a feature on Canvas regularly - although you can view those details with API. For regular use and view, it hasn't been implement but it is a great idea and suggestion.
