On my 'Grades' Board - my Imported Assignments show an icon that looks like an eye with a line through it- what does this mean? how do I get rid of this?

If you are a student, then your instructor has made the grade posting manual. This means that the teacher can grade all the assignments and then when they are happy with the results they can post the grades. You will then be able to see the grade.
if you are an instructor, you need to change the grade posting method to automatic and then post the grades.
