I am trying to de-cross-list and when I select the section, it doesn't say De-Cross-List. What might I be doing incorrectly?

Are you sure you are in the correct course? You might need to go to the course where all the cross-listing sections are located. Be sure you are following the steps in one of these Guides (depending on your role):

In addition to what @Chris_Hofer Posted, your institution may have removed that capability for instructors (mine has) to de-cross list a course. I suggest contacting your Canvas admins to see about getting the course de-cross listed.
