Hi everyone, I have added in comments to documents in an assignment students have submitted. Apparently they cannot see these. I ahve checked that nothing is hidden - including in the Grade tab. The comments are next to the document and not in the comment box. The only thing I do notice is that the green button for the…
We have fully prepared courses and sometimes hire adjuncts to teach them. We do not want them to be able to take our course and copy it over to another institution. Right there there is no way to prevent that from happening. We would like a lock on that so that we can lock a course making a faculty member unable to copy it…
At our school, courses start all throughout the semester. While students can see calendars for courses that have not yet started by entering those individual courses, the global calendar to which they can subscribe will not populate sessions from that course until the day it begins. This leads to some nasty surprises, such…
Idea / Problem Statement Instructors need more control over how students view quizzes during review or test correction mode in Canvas. Currently, even when a quiz is set to “one question at a time” during the attempt, the review screen displays all questions and answers on a single scrollable page. For classes that use…

Our students upload jpgs of hand written work to Canvas assignments. Until recently, teachers could rotate and annotate jpgs (necessary as they sometimes upload sideways). This is suddenly not possible. When a submission is rotates, the annotation tools toggle off. Any idea of a workaround or when this might get fixed?
Hi everyone, I had a teacher reach out with an odd (and concerning) LockDown Browser issue and wanted to see if others have experienced something similar. A student was taking a quiz using Respondus LockDown Browser on a Chromebook 300e Yoga G4 (8GB), a 2‑in‑1 device that can flip into tablet mode. During the active quiz,…
We're a couple of weeks into the Roadmap now, and while I was hoping it would be an improvement over the former iteration, I'm starting to have doubts. The Old Ideas forum: It felt like a black hole where ideas would go to die. But, you could at least search for and view discussion on various great ideas that simply…
