Copying a Course

We have fully prepared courses and sometimes hire adjuncts to teach them. We do not want them to be able to take our course and copy it over to another institution. Right there there is no way to prevent that from happening. We would like a lock on that so that we can lock a course making a faculty member unable to copy it out onto another institution's platform.

@gibsonc - it is possible to use CSS in the account theme to hide the export and copy buttons. We do that to hide the delete and reset buttons. This solves one problem but then creates another as then those buttons are hidden from everyone. We don't want anyone deleting or resetting so that isn't an issue.

Thanks, we do that, but how will you ever know, and will your the school actually invest the resources to folow-through? It seems a simple fix to be able to freeze the copy course button for some courses. I wish they would enable it.

My recommendation would be to require all faculty members to sign a legal document prohibiting the sharing of your institution's course materials.
