I want to add groups (5 groups total) to multiple discussions within a course. I want to set this up in the Blueprint course. The goal is for students to be assigned to the same group across all Discussions, so they have frequent opportunities to interact with the same peer group. My question: can these groups be set up in…
The "Print Results" button for new quizzes doesn't generate a print preview when teachers try to print a student's submission. I know this is related to the Upgraded Speedgrader because when I revert back to the old SpeedGrader UI it works. Anyone else experiencing this issue?
I looked in the Canvas Notifications resource doc and it did mention (shown at bottom)… But when I go into my Account > Notifications, I don't see that as an option - at either the Account or Course level. (Account level screenshot below) Is this something an admin needs to change?
Hi, My institution is starting to use Respondus LockDown Browser. My question concerns an exam using the 'New Quizzes' engine that requires the use of LockDown Browser. Assuming that the 'early exit' feature is enabled in the LockDown Browser settings, if a student exits the exam early, will Canvas allow them to re-enter…
Last week, I was able to access my past courses for my college. Now that my current classes are posted, I can't access the archived ones anymore. Any of them. There is no past courses button, and my browser is up to date. Some of the courses are from years ago and would make no sense to suddenly become private. Can anyone…
I sometimes need to search for a file on Canvas so I can rename it or move it to a specific folder. The 'search' facility' is useless because it doesn't tell me the location of the file -i.e. which folder it is in. Is there any way of getting this basic information - the Panda Bot AI assistant suggested clicking on the…
Hello, I am using checkpoint discussions. When I see that I have some submissions in my To Do list to grade, I click on it, go into Speedgrader, and now have to search to see which students have posted or not. It used to designate which students had posts to grade so it was easy to just go to those students. Something has…
I set an assignment, and my students have uploaded files as requested. I want to download these so I can add in-text comments (SpeedGrader is too clunky). On the left of the SppedGrader page is the text "Submitted Files: (Click to load.)", but when I click on what appears to be the link for the file, nothing happens. I…
My district recently updated canvas, and the extension, canvas betterizer no longer does this for me and it's making it really difficult to use speed grader. Why is this not a function that is available? It makes things so much easier, two less interactions with either my keyboard or my mouse to move to the next…
