The title says it all - This seems like it should be a simple thing to fix. I've been careful not to overshoot the due dates when I'm updating any due date errors after transferring a course, so it hasn't been a big issue. However, this semester, Canvas added an extra week of vacation in the middle of my class, forcing half of my assignments forward in their due dates, opening dates and closing dates. Now I'm being told by tech support that I have to manually go in and change the due dates for about 40 assignments, all because Canvas randomly decided to add a week to half of my assignments (The random nature of the import errors around assignment dates is a whole other issue I could go on about). If there was just a way to move the dates backwards, this wouldn't be an issue.
