Hi Instructure Community.
We have Account-level Question Banks and Item Banks. I'm putting it out there that we could use account-level quizzes (Classic and/or New Quizzes).
Why? we have policy quizzes that we deploy in every course and we have an account level question bank that pulls the questions into destination quizzes in every course. If we need to change the quiz settings, such as when we re want to reorder questions and we want a single question to appear at the top or at a place in the quiz, we have to adjust the functionality of every quiz in every deployed course. for the program in question, these are policy quizzes and for this program, the instructional module content unlocks once this policy quiz is completed. The program wants to change the order of the questions and in the classic quiz question bank, there are no control for the order of question bank items, aside from alphabetical. More options are available once the bank is deployed in a quiz, but then if you are deploying in over 50 classes, that's a lot of repetitive work to change the question order if they are being pulled from a bank.
A possible alternative would be settings to control the order of deployment of questions if pulling from a bank (we have options for all or a random sample, what about specific questions from the bank and in a given order.
It still wouldn't be a course evaluation type product because you'd want to hide the results from all the course-roles except from the student completing the survey and the account roles and then account roles could control when that info could be deployed to the course roles and maintain anonymity while being able to notify individual students to complete the course evaluations if they haven't already.
Just wondering if this would also be a welcome functionality for other institutions. We certainly could use this functionality.
