How to get rid of AI in my canvas classroom?

I'm writing this question due to concerns regarding my students overusing AI in my classroom, which is directly in violation with my syllabus. This has been a problem for years, but recently has gotten out of hand. Since the new school year is around the corner, I'd like to know of any tactics or settings that disable AI use on canvas! Anything helps, as I'm not 'tech savvy' as my kids say. Thank you for your time.
