Reusing question groups from multiple quizzes

A colleague asked me how to reuse the questions from the 14 quizzes he has already created as a large question pool to draw questions from for a cumulative exam. Each of the 14 quizzes has multiple question groups, and none of them was linked to a question bank at the time of creation. The best thing I could find is the Youtube video from 2020 below. The alternative is to re-enter every single question again, or use Respondus. Does anyone else have a simpler, more efficient way of making this happen without clicking 1000 times?

Unfortunately, the questions were not placed in a bank when the quizzes were created. It appears there is no other way to add existing questions to a question bank, which prevents the reuse of the questions that are already on Canvas. The Youtube above seems to be the only way to go. I just don't understand why Canvas was designed to make things so difficult.

Thanks, he is not using New Quizzes now. Is this task easier in New Quizzes? It's just going to be a one-direction switch in our LMS for faculty, so we need to weigh the pros and cons between the Classic and the New.

To save question groups (banks) in Canvas, follow these simple steps:

* Go to the Quizzes tab in your Course.
* Click on the quiz you want to use your question banks on.
* Then, click Find Questions.
* Select the desired question bank, check the desired questions, and click Add Questions.
* If you want to use random questions, select New Question Bank and Link to a Question Bank.
