direct message professor Schutten /art appreciation class
Hello @AlinaSinclair …
You may not have realized this, but you posted this question in the global Canvas Community website. The vast majority of us here in the Community don't have access to your school's Canvas environment or any of your courses that you are taking using the Canvas LMS. With that being said, you should be able to contact your instructor using the "Help" menu in your Canvas environment. On the far left-hand side of Canvas, click on "Help" in the global navigation menu, and then click on "Ask Your Instructor a Question". This should allow you to contact your professor for your art appreciation course. If you are still not able to contact your instructor that way, you may need to reach out to your school's Online Learning / eLearning / Distance Learning team, and they can guide you through how you can contact your professor. Here's a Guide on how to use that "Help" menu I referenced earlier:

We're using pacing to avoid manually dating regular assignments each quarter, but the dates I see are based on when the course was instantiated, while students see dates based on when they were added to the course by [backend software I don't know anything about, presumably]. If I set…
Has anyone else had issues with an influx of duplicate users in Canvas? Ours is currently in the form of an email that already exists, becoming a new user - and not automatically merging with the user ID with the same email that also is linked to our SIS ID correctly as well. For example, user 1 is xyz@gmail.com without a…
Canvas Portfolios provide a powerful platform for students to document their learning journey, reflect on their progress, and showcase competencies. However, in programs where multiple educators are involved in assessment—such as team teaching, moderation, or competency-based evaluation—there are important questions about…
