Is it possible to hide the assignment submission button but allow students to see the assignment details?

I want students to be able to see the assignment details but not be able to submit their assignments until a certain date. Canvas allows you to set the "Available from" date but doing this hides the assignment details.

Is there a way to do it without needing to duplicate the assignment details elsewhere?

Hi there @KenJohnson1 ,

Yes! I recommend setting the submission type to "No submission". This allows the students to review the assignment information and details without having the option to submit. However, when it comes time to allow submissions, you will need to access the assignment's settings and enable a submission type during that time.
