how to use knowledge check questions

I want to create knowledge check questions where I create pages that include notes and videos. the students view concept videos, and then answer questions for knowledge check(non-graded) I think I can include the questions inside the videos, or use microsoft forms and embed the code for the form that way.

Hello @BrianLynch03012367 - in addition to the MS Forms approach a few ideas come to mind -

If you use Canvas Studio, create knowledge check questions within the videos.
Quizlet (a good review: Quizlet: Study with Flashcards App)
Kahoot!
Flip cards. We use CIDI DesignPLUS which has this feature built in. But we can create it ourselves. You'll need your IT shop to review and if they approve, they will need to add CSS to the theme in Canvas. More here: How To Create a Flip Card with CSS and here: HTML | Flip a card - GeeksforGeeks

Thinking on this a but, I think it would be great to have such interactive features native to Canvas.

with that in mind, how do I set up a survey/poll in canvas.I want my students to select times and days that could for them, when I create live teaching sessions. For the life of me, I cannot find a way to do that in Canvas. I have thought about using doodle instead

I have Canvas set to drop the lowest quiz score, however, my students can only barely tell that the grade text is slightly grey when dropped. Can it have a tag like the "missing" and "exempt" ones in the student gradebook?
