Right now, we have the option to create a self-enroll link for students to join a course.
In addition to using Canvas as the primary LMS for teachers to students, we also use it for Teacher PD, student surveys, etc. We are suggesting that Canvas develop a way to make different self-enroll links for each section in a course. For example, we might have a Student Survey course with a different section for each school in the district as surveys will be specific to each school. The sections will allow us to assign ONLY the survey for the students' specific school site.
We have manually enrolled students from the "People" tab so we can enroll them into their specific school-site sections. However, some students might enroll late or something prevented them from being manually enrolled.
We want to give them a specific self-enroll link that will automatically enroll them to the specific section.
Right now, the self-enroll link just puts all students into the same section. Would be great if we could differentiate it!
