I have a question about the attendance list on canvas.
The way we work now is:
We have many groups, and also several teachers who each teach about 2 to 4 groups. We let the students enroll themselves into the group that fits their schedule the best. The teachers must keep the attendance of all students through the canvas roll attendance function. However, we cannot filter the roll call attendance according to the groups that we made. What we have to do now is: first make a section for each existing group, and then add each student one by one to the correct section. This is extremely time consuming, as there are hundreds of students. Does anyone know if there is an easier way to split the attendance list into the already existing groups?
