We are team teaching Geometry in Canvas. Sometimes we have new students enrolled. We have set the team course such that students must click through the lessons before they can go to the next lesson. When we have a new student come in, we skip prior assessments for that student so that they can start where the other students are at.
We need a way to make it so that these new students coming in do not need to click through all the lessons prior to the point where we want them to start. We can not do this now when team teaching because if we try to change the settings for one student, it affects all the other students in the team teaching environment.
So we would like some setting in the team teaching environment to either allow us to make changes to prerequisites for one student without affecting all other students, OR some global setting such that when assessments are excused for a student in a team teaching environment, they are also excused from having to click through prerequisite lessons.
