So I had deleted an exam column and had to recover it - and this forum helped (thank you). However, now their grades are in "blue" and I can't type over them, and they're not being calculated into the students' overall grade. How do I fix this?
@lmt0045 How did you recover the exam column? I assume it was an assignment that was deleted and then rescued from the /undelete page.
@james_whalley - it was actually the exam column I recovered with the /undelete command!
@lmt0045 I just want to clarify. When you say "exam column", is that column connected to an assignment or a quiz? I ask because columns only exist in relation to graded activities (discussions/assignments/quizzes), which work a little differently when manually entering grades. With the new SpeedGrader UI, we are seeing student names appear in the page title even when the “Hide student names” setting is enabled. When using Classic Quizzes, there is no option within the quiz settings to enable anonymous grading, so we rely on instructors using the hide student names setting in SpeedGrader to…
Speedgrader chaning file name when being downloaded. Speedgrader: When downloading a submitted assignment, the file name is being changed to an unrecognizable name — (Student's actual name was part of the file name — changed for privacy.) Ideas???

However, at my institution, we structure our assignments as Challenges that develop over a period of time, rather than just a single deadline. Currently, the calendar only highlights the "end point." It would be a…
