Too Many Clicks!!!

A few tasks in Canvas are ridiculously tedious with too many unnecessary steps. 

1. When I am looking at my list of announcements, the triple dots give me one option-delete. I almost never delete an announcement, but I do edit them ALL THE TIME. In order to edit an announcement, I must click on the announcement in the list, then from within the announcement, I have the option to edit the announcement. Why can't all the options that are available be available one step out!!!
2. When I click on "pages" it takes me to my homepage. In order to create a new page, which is what I want to do 99% of the time, I must click "view all pages" and then click the +Page button. This is so tedious and unnecessary. GIVE ME A NEW PAGE BUTTON NEXT TO THE "View All Pages" button PLEASE!!!!

I cannot help with it being too many clicks as that can be subjective person to person. However, I did see one thing you mentioned in which the workflow may not be ideal. You described the process you use to create pages. Do you use Modules to organize content? If you do, then yes, the process you are going through is likely not ideal. After all that to create the page, you then need to go to Modules to even add it.

Instead, create from within Modules themselves. On that page, in the module you want to add the page, click on the plus sign on the far right. Change the dropdown to Pages (or any other item you want to create in the list). At the top of the list of pages is an option that says "Create Pages" It will give you a spot to type in the name and whether you want it indented or not. I always recommend this when we get new teachers on staff because it creates the page AND adds it to the desired module in one step.

I rarely create from Pages or Assignments anymore because I rely on Modules to organize content.
